RMSTATOR SPLYT Technology provides a reliable solution to common charging system failures. Featured by Dirt Trax Television, this system uses a dual-output stator with two completely separate stator windings. The power generated is split between two voltage regulators, allowing each regulator to handle only half the original load. This reduces operating temperatures and improves reliability.
Series Voltage Regulation
Unlike traditional regulators that shunt excess power to ground, SERIES regulators protect the battery from high voltage by disconnecting the stator coils from the regulator and preventing current from passing through. This reduces heat generation and operating temperatures.
Ultimate Reliability
Stock charging systems often operate voltage regulators within 5% of their maximum capacity, creating heat and stress that can lead to failure. With the RMSTATOR SPLYT system, both SERIES regulators operate with 40% overhead for longer service life and stable output.
Better Design
Unlike the original OEM stator, which uses a single three-phase winding, the SPLYT stator has two completely separate three-phase windings. Each winding produces half the power of the stock stator, reducing the temperature of each individual coil.
More Available Power
For vehicles running additional accessories such as lighting, stereos or winches, the SPLYT kit is available with an upgraded flywheel that increases power output from 650 W to 900 W.

Important Notice: This kit includes two wiring harnesses in accordance with Polaris recall # Z-16-01-C (OEM # 2206620, 2206367 and 2206473). Relocating both regulators is strongly recommended to prevent premature wear caused by mud, dust and rocks.
Before Installing the New Stator
- Check the AC output of the stator.
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on the stator and regulator rectifier.
- Check and repair any melted wiring.
- Apply high-temperature dielectric grease to all connectors.
The stator may use a different wire colour code from the original part. All wires are installed in the correct order; do not change the wiring configuration. This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement. Always use thread-locking compound when securing the stator bolts. If the stator includes a pickup coil, check the air gap during installation. Adjust it as close as possible, but no less than 0.010 inches.

Shipping Once your payment has been confirmed, we make every effort to get your items to you as quickly as possible.
Our items are shipped from our Auckland-based storage facility or our shop, so please allow between 2-4 business days if you are in an urban area, and a little bit longer if you are a rural address.
We use NZCouriers and CourierPost as our shipping companies.
They cannot deliver to PO Boxes, and items must be signed for. If delivering to a company address, please ensure the company name is included in the address details. Please note: items purchased after 2.00pm may not be dispatched until the following business day.
Weekends and all public holidays are not classed as business days. Items purchased on non-business days will be processed on the first available business day.
If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of receipt for either an exchange, store credit or full refund of the price paid (less any shipping costs). Please adhere to the following conditions for returning your item:
- Items must be in new and saleable condition, with original packaging, labels, tags and all accessories intact
- Product packaging must be wrapped / protected before shipping to avoid damage. Do not stick anything to product packaging
- Items must be undamaged and unused
- Items must be returned freight paid (for your security, we recommend you use a courier that requires signature delivery)
- A note explaining the reason for return/exchange request and your contact details is sent with the item If you have any concerns about your return meeting these conditions, please contact us before sending, thereby avoiding unnecessary courier costs. Exchange Procedure If your original order qualified for freight free delivery, any additional exchanges on the same order will incur a freight charge.
Refund Policy Due to security measures, refunds will be processed back to the credit card or bank account used for the original payment.
